For the 2013 Kansas Book Festival, there is a committee of people who meet to discuss which authors we would like to feature at the event. To qualify as a presenting author, preference is given to authors that have published within the 18 months prior to the festival date. We do this in order that we may bring the newest and freshest material to the people of Kansas. Self-published authors will be considered as space is available. Authors may be asked to send in a copy of their book for review.
For those authors that do not qualify as a presenting author, we do welcome you to join us in our vendor tent to promote your work and sell any and all of your books. Click here for more information about becoming a vendor.
