For the 2012 Kansas Book Festival, there is a committee of people who meet to discuss which authors we would like to feature at the event. To qualify as a presenting author, preference is given to authors that have published within the past year (since the last festival). We do this in order that we may bring the newest and freshest material to the people of Kansas.
At this time, we also do not allow self-published authors to qualify as a presenting author.
